Welcome to my webpage. I am a marine biologist from Mexico. I am currently a PhD student at the University of California, Santa Cruz, in  the Bernardi Lab, which focuses on molecular ecology and evolution of fishes.

I have a broad range of interests that include population genetics, marine ecology, connectivity, dispersal, speciation, and conservation. Apart from my research I love outdoor activities, traveling, and photography. Feel free to roam around my webpage for more information.

Cheers =)

    Very happy to get your Dad’s email and find out where you are and what you are doing. It all sounds fascinating — the sea remains a great love of mine — and very impressive.

    I’ll be in Tucson most of February and March, would love it if somehow we could get together for a visit. Thinking about a project that might jibe with your work.

    Sending big abrazos (and loved your comments responsive to your Dad’s wonderful letter).

    1. Great to hear from you Fran. That is great you are trying to get a project together with similar interests. Feb and March I’ll be in Santa Cruz taking courses and don’t have too much time off, but would definitely love to meet up if possible.

      Thank you for your lovely comments. Hope all is well. Big hug!
